The Line Duo is playing during Adams Percussion Festival |
 During the Adams percussion festival on the 15th of June in Ittervoort (NL) The Line is playing with a very special small strength. Marcel van Vught and Dirkjan van Groningen are playing a varied percussion program with a great dose of rudimental drumming and marching percussion. Also regular percussion instruments and sequencers are playing a big role in this program. |

S&MM Arrangements Are Scoring During IPC Finals |
|
 During the Indoor Percussion Finals, last Saturday the 29th of march in Eindhoven, the arrangements of Show & Marching Music scored very well. There were three units in competition who played a complete Show & Marching Music program.
Drumcorps Premier from Krommenie (NL) scored 79,0 points with their “Happy Feet” program and became 1st in the Standstill Open Class. |

First Time Musik Messe Successful! |
 From 12 until 15 March 2008 the annual Musik Messe took place in Frankfurt Germany. For the first time Show & Marching Music was present at this international trade fair for everything which has to do with music. We have done good business and made a lot of new contacts. CMH Percussion Ensemble to Indoor Percussion Championships |
|
 After a successful European Indoor Percussion Championship, where the CMH Percussion Ensemble score one 10th less than the winner in the Concert Class, the ensemble is busy with the preparations for the Dutch Championships in Eindhoven on the 29th of March.
The ensemble is playing a program with music from the American band Maroon 5. In this show you will find among others the following Maroon 5 hits: Shiver, Harder To Breath, This Love, She Will Be Loved and Sunday Morning. |

On our stand you can find the new publications in the field of Marching Band, Marching Percussion, Concert Band and Concert Percusison.  Next Saturday the 16th of February there are coming some “big names” to the Netherlands to judge the Indoor Percussion Contest during the WGI Regional in Drachten. Matt Savage ( well know from among others Dutch Boy, Blue Coats and his book Rudimental Workshop) and Julie Davila (well know from her work for WGI and her books Modern Multi Tenor Techniques and Impressions On Wood) are going to judge this Regional. |

 New in our web shop are a couple of DVD’s from the world famous drumcorps "The Blue Devils". First a DVD from Wayne Downey, entitled Dynasty of Brass, about the Hornline of this top drumcorps. Besides that there’s a DVD from Scott Johnson, entitled ScoJo’s Lick of the Week, with 26 original Scott Johnson Licks and a DVD with a documentary about the Drumline from 2006 entitled Blue Smoke.
