Instrumentation: Bells Vibraphone Chimes Marimba 1 [4-octave] Marimba 2 [4-octave] Marimba 3 [5-octave] (Marimba 1 & 3 may share one 5-octave instrument)
Coventry Carol starts with unison bells, vibraphone, and chimes answered by the warmth of harmonized marimbas. After some harmonic variations early in this arrangement, the piece ends with the traditional carol in a big, richly orchestrated final verse.
