As one of the most famous Spanish classical guitar pieces of the 20th century, "Asturias-Leyenda" by Albéniz has found its way to the rosewood bars of the marimba in many different renditions. Gifford Howarth's new arrangement can stand alone as its own marimba solo, or better yet can feature a large ensemble of mostly beginning-level accompaniment. This works very well to have younger groups backing a featured solo performer and offers a fresh new take on this classic piece of literature.
Leyenda comes with a full, bound score and includes all individual parts available for printing on included CD-Rom.
